Our mission
Twelve Chairs is a dynamic new company, we believe in films that challenge our perception and can change the world. We are looking for new projects to develop, from idea to screen.
We look at mainstream or independent projects, in any genre, low to medium budget, film or episodic television, including documentary-fiction crossovers and new forms of narrative for theatrical or digital distribution.

Our focus is independent film. We provide a global platform for national and cross border films which celebrate world and European culture and diversity.
Challenging perspectives
We delight our audience by providing film as entertainment as well as an effective means to challenge and reframe beliefs about us as people and the world we live in.

We maximise returns for our investors and manage risk by leveraging innovative digital platforms and agile production methods to bring new projects to the screen across a range of visual media.

Paul Gallagher
Director
Paul founded and was CEO of Euroscript Ltd an EU MEDIA programme [96-02] developing feature scripts with writers and EU production companies, including: Little Ashes, 2008, and DuCain’s Boys, Mermaids & Money Troubles, Dark Rosaleen, Heart and Soul. He was an independent script consultant on features Starred Up, 2013, and Desiree, 2016. He was editor of Screenwriter magazine, has had stories and poetry published, including Dancing in the Waves [Mer, 2009].
Dawn Rhodes-Shaw
Associate Writer
Dawn is a screenwriter, poet and Voice Over Agent. She has spent many years nurturing and managing talent and is a founder member of the Actors Creative Team a co-operative theatrical agency.
She is currently compiling her first pamphlet of poems for publication. Is co-writing a six-part comedy drama, and co-writing her second feature film, The Knitting Circle, with Paul Gallagher for Twelve Chairs Films.
Phil Falato
Director
Phil Falato has over 30 years experience in business and a passion for film. Drawing on his extensive experience in digital strategy, multi-channel distribution and agile development, Phil supports the development of film projects from script to screen by attracting investors, raising finance, guiding production and securing distribution routes.
